Moshe asked everyone for $50.00 toward the gift.

Every group collection used to be a headache.

It always landed on the same generous organizer — until now.

The 15 Phone Calls

Two weeks of playing phone tag, leaving voicemails, and hearing "call me back tonight" from twelve people who never call back...

Out-of-Pocket Expenses

You put $800 on your personal card, and suddenly you are tracking down siblings for contributions...

The Surprise Gets Ruined

Someone inevitably asks "So what are we buying him?" in the main group chat while the honoree is right there reading along...

"Did I Zelle You Already?"

Three random Zelles, a crumpled envelope, and someone swearing they definitely gave you fifty dollars by the coatroom at the Vort...

Where the difference goes

Your total is the gift, which reaches the family in full, plus a processing & service fee, which covers card and bank processing and keeps Mishtatef running. You can see the exact split on every payment: at checkout under “View breakdown” and in your history. What the family collected is never charged for sitting still, and never receives a penny less than what was given.

FAQ & Support

Frequently Asked Questions

There is zero setup: no app to download, no browser needed, and no passwords to remember. When you create an Event, members receive a simple text or link. They can contribute via Apple Pay, Google Pay, card, or by simply replying "YES" from any phone.

Mishtatef processes live payments (cards, bank debit, Apple Pay) and transfers collected funds to your bank account with $0 withdrawal fee. If someone hands you cash, you can record it on the ledger under their name.

Mishtatef has built-in Expense Reimbursement. The member who bought the gift submits their receipt. The organizer approves it, and that amount is paid back directly from the collection.

Never. Surprise Mode is built directly into our servers. When you open a surprise Event, the honoree is completely excluded from all text blasts, emails, and reminders. Even if someone forwards them the link, it shows as a "Not Found" page.

Creating a Circle, opening Events, and withdrawing money to your bank are 100% free with zero monthly subscriptions. A transparent processing fee is added at checkout when members pay by card, meaning the collection receives 100% of what was given.

Yes! You can add co-organizers to your Circle. Any authorized organizer can create new Events, approve receipts, track contributions on the ledger, and initiate payouts.

While you can set a suggested share (e.g. $50), members can easily text or type any custom amount (e.g. $25, $36) or quietly pass. Amounts are private to the organizer.

You can withdraw the remaining balance to your bank, transfer it to another active Event, refund it to contributors, or keep it in your Circle Fund ("די קאסע") for the next event.

All transactions are encrypted and processed through regulated banking partners (Stripe). We never store bank passwords or card numbers. Phone numbers and emails are used exclusively for Circle alerts.

About two minutes: name the Circle, open the first Event, paste in the numbers or emails. That was the whole job.
