One shared pot for every simcha. Everyone chips in from their phone, the ledger keeps itself, and the person getting the gift never sees a thing.

Moshe asked everyone for $50 toward the gift.
This is a live demo — click around, nothing is real.
Every large family has the same four problems, and they repeat with every single gift.
Every single gift starts the same way: one person volunteering, then working through the family one phone call at a time.
One person puts $600 on their card and spends the next three weeks reminding everyone else. It is always the same person.
Cash, Zelle, a check, "I'll give it to you at the simcha." Six weeks later nobody can reconstruct who actually gave what.
The group chat planning the gift includes the person receiving it. Every family has learned this the hard way.
The Circle is the base: your people and one shared Pot where the money lives. Paste in everyone's emails and they join in one tap — no app to install.
Anyone can put money in whenever they like, or set a standing monthly amount so it is never empty. Every cent lands on a ledger the whole Circle can see.
An engagement, a baby, a birthday. Mishtatef hides it from the honoree and asks everyone to chip in — one email, three buttons — then you buy the gift.

Every payout needs approval before a cent moves.
The Pot — every cent in and out, append-only, visible to the whole Circle — including the line the honoree can never read.
This is not a hidden tab or a checkbox they could stumble past. When an Occasion excludes someone, the server refuses to hand them the data — the occasion, its chat, its ledger lines, its poll, all of it simply does not exist for that account.

Shloimy's Engagement
$286 of $500
What Shloimy sees
Nothing. Not a badge, not a notification, not a hint.
Every contribution, every payout, every fee — append-only and visible to the whole Circle. No more "I definitely gave for that one."
Each Occasion has its own room, automatically minus the honoree. Suggestions, links, and a poll to settle what to actually buy.
Birthdays, anniversaries and yahrzeits on either calendar. Three weeks before, Mishtatef offers to open the Occasion for you.
Set a standing amount so the Pot is never empty. Three days before each charge you get an email: skip it, change it, or let it run.
Laid out cash for the florist? Log it with a photo of the receipt and get paid back from the Pot, or credited against what you owe.
Get a single-use card loaded with the exact approved amount and buy the gift right now — no waiting for a transfer to land.
You will always see the cost before you confirm anything.

No ads. We never sell your data. No fee on bank contributions, and no fee on standard payouts.
Money is held in accounts at a regulated partner bank, not by us. We never see or store your bank credentials or card numbers — that all happens inside our payment processor. Every cent in and out is recorded in an append-only ledger that every member of your Circle can inspect.
Contributing from a linked bank account is free. Card contributions carry the card processing fee, shown to you before you confirm, and you can always switch to a bank instead. Paying money out to buy the gift is free by bank transfer or instant gift card. There are no monthly fees on the free plan.
No. Anyone can use a card instead, and a Circle can run in tracking-only mode where Mishtatef just keeps the books — who owes what, who has paid — while the money moves however your family already moves it.
Yes, and it is free forever. Tracking-only Circles get the full experience — occasions, requests, the running ledger, the chat, Surprise Mode — with contributions marked as settled by Zelle, cash or check.
Nobody is ever charged without saying yes first. If someone declines or ignores a request, the organizer sees it on a live response board and can send one gentle reminder. There is no automatic chasing and no public shaming — the "who has not paid" list is only visible to whoever is running the collection.
By default yes — full transparency is the point, and it is what stops the arguments. But the person who created the Circle can switch it to show percentages only, or hide individual amounts entirely. You can also give anonymously to any single Occasion.
